Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess equivalent qualifications recognized by the central government. The graduation degree should have been obtained between April 1, 2021, and January 1, 2025.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of January 1, 2025. This means candidates must have been born not earlier than January 2, 1997, and not later than January 1, 2005. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee
- PwBD Candidates: ₹400 + GST
- SC/ST and All Women Candidates: ₹600 + GST
- All Other Candidates: ₹800 + GST
Stipend
Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹12,000 per month during the one-year engagement period. No additional allowances or benefits are provided.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises two stages:
- Online Written Test: This test will assess candidates on various subjects, including General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Knowledge. The test will have a duration of 90 minutes.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates will be evaluated on their proficiency in the local language of the state they are applying for.
Note: The English Language test will be of qualifying nature and its marks will not be added while preparing the merit list.
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official BOI website from March 1, 2025, to March 15, 2025. Candidates must first register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and obtain an enrollment ID before proceeding with the BOI application.
