Union Bank of India has announced the recruitment of 2,691 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. The online application process commenced on February 19, 2025, and has been extended until March 12, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized University/Institute, completed on or after April 1, 2021.
- Age Limit: Applicants should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of February 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply as per Government of India guidelines.
Application Fee:
- General/OBC: ₹800 + GST
- SC/ST/Female: ₹600 + GST
- PWBD: ₹400 + GST
Stipend:
Selected apprentices will receive a stipend of ₹15,000 per month during the one-year apprenticeship period.
Selection Process:
- Online Test: Objective-type examination covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state they are applying for. Proof of language proficiency may be required.
- Wait List: A waitlist may be prepared to fill positions if selected candidates do not accept or report for the apprenticeship.
- Medical Examination: Final engagement is subject to medical fitness certified by a registered general physician (minimum qualification MBBS).
